Begin with the product and market
The responsible food business and qualified process specialist should establish the relevant classification, preservation strategy and evidence. Ingredients, particle profile and packaging can change the treatment and records required.
Connect heating to the package
State the boundary at which the product is considered treated and the controls for downstream handling. Filling temperature, container, closure and any later treatment belong to the complete system. An ordinary filler is not an aseptic filling line.
Keep authority and equipment evidence separate
A test of pump output or heat-exchanger control is equipment evidence. It does not by itself validate an acidification method, fermentation schedule or ambient shelf life. For applicable US products, consult the FDA process-filing guidance and a qualified specialist.
