Cleaning & service
Access the tank floor, screen baskets and lift return; verify that trapped stems can be removed without entering moving equipment.
Equipment / Prepare
Remove loose field soil from fresh pods before inspection and cutting.
A wash vessel or channel, agitation system, product lift and drain section form the wet preparation module. Screens keep large debris out of recirculation paths.
Size the wash duty from incoming bulk density, soil load and delicate-skin tolerance. Pod float behaviour and entanglement decide the lift and retention arrangement.
Dried pods and received fermented mash do not automatically belong in this wet route. Washing alone is not a validated microbial reduction step.
| Parameter group | Information to establish |
|---|---|
| Feed basis | Fresh whole pods; variety and receiving condition |
| Hydraulic duty | Water supply, turnover and drain load |
| Discharge | Residual surface water and hand-off height |
No numerical rating or model is assigned without a configuration-specific record. Ask for the drawing, wetted materials and operating conditions with the proposal.

Provide clean water, a defined overflow and drain capacity, service access and a drained discharge to inspection.
Observe damage, carryover water, debris removal and loss of usable pods with representative deliveries.
